Insurance companies might start grilling us about whether or not we’re members of social networking sites, as they decrease our privacy and increase the risk of us getting burglarized.

Well, of course the insurance companies are trying to use this as an excuse to jack up our insurance rates! If they really cared, all they would need to do is to let their clients know about the dangers of posting their travel plans on social networking sites. I’m sure that would be incentive enough for people to deter them from posting this info online. But then again, the insurance companies need an excuse for charging you more, right?
