Urgent!!Do I need a medicial insurance to apply for Irish visit/holiday visa?

I am studying in the UK at the moment, an internationalt student. I plan to have a short trip in Ireland .

But can anybody tell me if I need to get the medical insurance to apply for the Irish visit visa???

I know if it’s for irish student visa then people must have that, but I just wanna go there for a holiday .

I’ve checked so many websites still haven’t got any clue!
